Gracie:
The oldest of my 3 cats and for some reason hardest to get a good picture of:

Anyway, Gracie is about 5 years old, fluffy, sweet, and squeaks instead of meows. She loves to hop up and lick your face once she knows and loves you, but she doesn’t like strangers AT ALL. She will run and hide in the box springs of my bed or in a kitchen cabinet if new people arrive. There’s only been a few people from whom she did not hide for their entire visit. Generally, she gets accustomed to women faster, so I think maybe she was abused by a male before I adopted her.
She was adopted from a lovely no kill shelter in Mission, Kansas called The Pet Connection.
Gracie will steal your heart with her flouncy fluff and innocent kitten face. I used to think I was her biggest fan, but I’ve been replaced by Oliver. The great news: Gracie loves Oliver too! (she previously lived with Shadow (big ass cat) and Capella (very weird, cute calico) at my parents’ house in the time where I was starting my career and broke and her relationship with each was strained–they were never close. *tear*)
Oh and that totally awesome lamp in the first two pictures is from Pier 1 and can also be seen in Penny’s apartment on The Big Bang Theory. Yes, I totally freaked out and got super excited to see that MY lamp was on TV! and I totally loved it long before it was famous– i saw it and I’m just sort of “frugal” and wouldn’t buy it–took me about a year I’d say before making the purchase of 2 lamps. (I was going to have one on each side of my bed, but current configuration does not allow for such things so I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. unity. about the only thing that ties the rooms together)
Oh wait, this is supposed to be about Gracie, huh? but I love lamp.
