I still remember sitting on the plane- United Airlines blue and orange were abundant and I'd never been on a plane before; just a lot of Greyhound buses, but that's another blog entry for another time. Could be the auxillary power unit, hydraulics, flaps being extended or retracted, landing gear or just plain noise from the plane flying through turbulence.
