One thing is missing; the 80s era Time Life Treasury of Christmas commericals.
They make me feel safe and warm. As the weather fades into fall and winter, I find myself increasingly in need of warmth. Not just the sort of warmth that works from the outside in, but from the inside out. this little light of mine, i’m gonna let it shine…
I started this post without a theme, but somehow it became about my favorite Christmas commercials and warmth. I suppose it’s because I’m cold and lonely and those commercials make me feel an ember of inner warmth each time I see them.
Anyhow, I’m still bright and cheerful, fear not. But seriously, I wouldn’t be very likable if I was always the “somebody’s got a case of the Moon-days!” type.
I just have my moments where I need a little help to get back to good.
