Le Sigh

A quick note: If you plan to shake a liquid, make sure the top of the container is properly sealed. Getting Rice Dream (Carob) on the new pj shirt you’ve had on for less than 5 minutes is not fun–nor is getting Rice Dream (Carob) all over your kitchen. It’s kind of sticky. And now, so am I.

Oh Katie. How sad!! But what the hell is rice dream (carob)?? And precisely what were you doing with it??

    Hi Katie,

I came across your website while doing a google search for ‘look famous’. I am Australian and a 45 year old mother of sons not much younger than you. I don’t normally get onto the net to read peoples blog but couldn’t help but notice yours when I was searching for another website. Firstly I am also a budding writer of novels, so I couldn’t help but think this girl should be writing novels. Then I went into your profile and found you had a degree in professional writing…..hope you are working with that!

Anyway, the reason for my unannounced email is to ask if you would do me a favour? The reason I was searching under ‘look famous’ was because I have a son who is 18 years of age and a budding actor. He is entered into a competition here in Australia to win paid expenses to New York. He would like to win this competition so he can fly to New York to do a 5 day intensive acting course and come home with a New York professional showreel. BUT, he needs as many votes as he can get and you can only vote once per email address. I know this is a crazy request, but could you and your friends spare a couple of minutes to go to the comps website and vote for him please?

It is an Australian and New Zealand comp and if you go to http://www.lookfamous.com.au then click on ‘view gallery’ then click on ‘most famous’ you will find him standing alone in a black singlet and black jeans, brown hair and looking down over the sunglasses, his title name is Palmer. Then if you click on his picture you can then click on the slogan shown across his body to vote for him. You can also find him by clicking on ‘By name’ and adding Palmer.

I know this is a strange request, but I am just a proud mum who is trying to find people to do a good deed for a great young man who needs a break!

Good luck with your writing Katie, I think you have lots of talent. Thank you for your assistance, please tell lots of your friends to vote too!

    Kind Regards,
